The French Quarter was practically made for October. With its old buildings, flickering gas lamps, ghost stories and costumed crowds, Halloween feels right at home here.

Located right on Jackson Square, Café Pontalba puts you in the middle of the action for all the fun, including Krewe of BOO!, the official Halloween parade. The procession rolls down Decatur Street right past Jackson Square, making Café Pontalba a great place to grab a real New Orleans meal before finding your parade spot. Or stop for a nightcap—a Bloody Mary perhaps?—after the last monster rolls by.

But Krewe of BOO! is only part of the fun. Throughout October, the French Quarter fills with ghost tours and Halloween celebrations, giving you plenty of reasons to spend the day in the Vieux Carré. Scare up a costume, and your appetite, and come see us.
